Am I entitled to file LAWSUIT?
HI, Let me explain to you what the circumstance is... ( I am going to be clear and concise, so I expect the same with your answers)
1. My school leases from Apple MacBooks and we students lease it from the school
2. When we began leasing it from our school, we were to sign this contract with the rules of how you should use the computer
3. So we read and signed the CONTRACT(3 years); a few weeks later I decided to install windows
4. Later the school somehow found out that I had Windows and they are trying to suspend me or put me in this "IN-HOUSE"
5. They claim they have warned me twice but they did not say ****!
6. Other people got caught with Windows they were let off the hook
7. I have a 3.8 GPA
8. I have never been in trouble
9. This is what the contract came closest to mention anything about other operating systems:
Personal software
Personal software that meets Responsible Use Policy (RUP) guidelines can be installed on
the MacBook Pro. Certain types of software, however, are not permitted because they are
either illegal or increase potential for virus and malware contraction. Some specific banned
applications are referenced in the RUP, but it is not 'FEASIBLE" (I bolded it) for us to maintain a complete and
current list.
If this was a proper contract then they why would they not just list everything on there?
It is like my teacher asking me to write an essay and I say no that is not FEASIBLE for me to do.
The price to lease an Apple MacBook is no where near the price that our school increased our yearly tuition. And on top of that my dad gets a fee from my art class. (wtf this is a private school we already paid for that ****)
I feel like I am also somehow entitled by lawsuit.
Btw In-House is where you sit in a tiny room doing nothing for 8 hours. Cant eat unless you bring your own lunch if you don't tough luck. also its the same room as the bathroom you use. So thats abusive. And you'e paying for 3k a month so those day sum up to money wasted.
Oh yah and my Windows Partition on my my MacBook had a lot of software and iTunes movies that cant be recovered. And they wiped it out secretly without any of my notice. As you know you can't restore purchased movies from Apple as they are pigs too. Also I worked soooo hard on this Minecraft save.Gone!
So thats technically theft.
So yah I feel like I am entitled to some lawsuit here.
I want your professional analysis please.
Thank-You
