ok how the can my 1 gb RAM, no graphics card, 500MB memory macbook run tekkit with almost no lag, while my 8GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 9400 256 MB, and 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo iMac can't run it at all?

I've put everything at the lowest setting, and still, no luck. I really don't know what the problem is. I am running mavericks which is a little bit much for this computer. Is that what the problem is?

Im looking for good screen recorder for mac. Quicktime seems to make everything very slow and laggy. I used to use camtasia but my trial ran out and there are no torrents for it. It never had lag and worked well. I also dont want to use EZvid because there is always that preview before the video that looks very unproffesional. Any ideas? Thanks!

I would like to start doing a few let's plays on my youtube channel with my Xbox 360. I was wondering where I might be able to get an HD recorder, for no more then 100 dollars. I know there is Dazzle and such, but to be honest it really doesn't look very good. I would also like one that would record audio too. All suggestion are greatly appreciated!

I've seen a few videos with slow motion that is beyond the capabilities of the camera but they still use the same camera. I've looked anywhere and can't find a tutorial. Can anyone tell me how to make a 40 FPS video into a 500 FPS video? I know you have to use after affects (i think) but i just dont know at ALL what to do. Thanks!

I am 13 years old and I have been playing M rated games for about 3 years. Two days ago I was about to buy L.A. noire, red dead redemption and hitman absolution with MY OWN money and then she said that i am no longer allowed to buy them. I have been really anger and have been getting a little bit violent (violent by punching walls or kicking doors). I have tried everything and my parents agree that i cant play/buy them anymore. Just a year ago, my mom said that I could buy M rated games as long as it is bought with my own money. (which i am doing!) I have even made a contract about all the things i would do if i could play the games. My mom says its not that i dont deserve it, its just that she doesnt like the content in them... I have almost 10 M rated games and she says i can only play the ones i have. I have beaten them all and I have been saving up for 5 months for the games i was trying to buy. I dont understand. She lets me watch 18a movies and such but I cant play mature video games! I am very angry and she wont budge. What should I do? How do I convince her to let me play/buy the M rated games? please help. Thanks!

My xbox 360 can connect to the network just fine and so can all of my other computers in my house but it seems to still not be able to sign me in or anything. Its SUPER annoying. i tries testing it but it just gets stuck from xbox 360 to internet. and suggestions on what i should do?

So i used a wash cloth and pressed on my face quite hard and scrubbed hard. most of the dead skin is off my face from peeling but it hurts and stings ALOT (as if i still had the sunburn... maybe worse) did this make it better or alot worse? will it get better in the morning? i did it about a half hour ago and it is 11:45 at night. So i have a french geography project coming up and im trying to finish it. I said that they should not depend on them because someday they might not receive the money and they wont know how to find food to eat. Is this a good response?

So i have (not very fast) wifi and everything, i can also join parties, but i cant seem to connect to match at all online with any video game. Every now and then i will get a match for about 5 mins but disonnect half way through. My xbox live membership is also gold and up to date. Any solutions or do i just have to deal with it?
