Will asthma keep you out of all military flying jobs, including Air Force, Marnes, Navy?
I applied to the Air Force academy and was disaualified for asthma, excema, and allergies. Will these conditions keep me out of any flying career even if my asthma is mild?
Ok, but one of you said it would keep you completly out of the military. I am going to Texas A&M for Aerospace engineering, could I join as an engineer?

In the military more than likely. If you want to fly commercially then No it won't.
Military :Previously, any history of asthma was disqualifying, regardless of age. While medical waivers were sometimes possible, waiver approval usually required scheduling and passing a pulmonary function test. Under the new policy, Asthma is only disqualifying if it occurs after the applicant’s 13th birthday.
Medical record screening may still be required, depending on the applicant’s medical history. However, in many cases, a signed statement, attached to the medical pre-screening form, stating that the applicant did not have any type of asthma (including exercise induced, or allergic asthma) or treatment for asthma after their 13th birthday will be sufficient.
Applicants who’ve experienced asthma or reactive airway disease after age 13 will require all medical documentation. Waivers may still be considered, depending on the applicant’s medical history and – possibly results from a pulmonary function test.
If you still want to fly you can still qualify for a Pilot's Medical Certificate.

Get into Space and Missiles in the Air Force. You are in a pretty remote area, but you are in a bunker in the United States. Weather is a good one, but you need an applicable degree. Someone above put aircraft maintainer, and that is not a good choice. My husband used to be AF aircraft maintenance and was stationed in Iraq with mortars being fired in the vicinity on a daily basis. If you do not have a family go Navy. Unless there is a large war against a country with a capable Navy you should be okay (as long as you don't do something like Seabees, SEALS, or Military Police.) I think the last major attack on a ship was the USS Cole a few years ago... You can check Iraq Naval fatalities vs other branches through dept. of def. stats or news sites for verification. AF & Navy have fewer fatalities across the board, regardless of field. For the second question, the only squadrons I know of that don't deploy are training squadrons.

Sorry but asthma before joining the military - can't have.
I was able to stay in the Navy after I became asthmatic in my 11 year - but could not return to submarine duty - I was stuck on surface ships - but was fortunate it was work related (stress to my lungs from the gym). So I finished my career and retired. Asthma is serious due to all the materials in the air - and masks that have to be worn.
You will not be so fortunate. You can not join because of the fear of various type of air attacks (chemical/bio) and fires in general because of the need for masks, and respirators. Asthma could prevent your lungs from pulling in clean air through the mask. Today I can't wear masks for welding or painting careers or hazmat work - so my job out look is limited. I have learned during the year good times and bad.
It is good to hear your asthma's is mild - so many careers are still open to you.
Good Luck.
Oh, yes you can become an engineer - but the materials in mists and other air hazards will keep you on your toes. But should not stop you from reaching your goal. Just not a military engineer.

These will keep you out of the military entirely, and certainly from a flying career in the military. The rules for joining as an engineer or scientist or the like are the same as well. The closest you could come is as a civilian contractor working with the military. I'm currently at Wright-Patterson AFB in Ohio and there are quite a few civilians here, and I believe the physical requirements are somewhat less stringent for them.
Also, one poster said you should just lie. Very bad idea since these things do tend to come out and the consequences simply are not worth it.

My brother is an asthmatic and after ten years his asthma has shown no sign of improving. He has been to several doctors but they didn't help much.
If you want a proven, all-natural way to cure your asthma, without having to pay for useless medications with harmful side-effects, then this is the most important page you'll ever read.

It's because of the excema and allergies.... Because I have mild asthma and they allowed me to enlist.... Been in for a year and I haven't had any problems yet. I didn't do anything shady like NOT tell them about my asthma problem, I got a medical waiver for that and for ovarian cyst problems. So.... I'm confused....

Yep.
Military Medical Standards for Enlistment & Appointment
Skin and cellular tissues
The disqualifying medical conditions are listed below. The International Classification of Disease (ICD) codes are listed in parentheses following each standard.
The causes for rejection for appointment, enlistment, and induction (without an approved waiver) are an authenticated history of:
Current or history of atopic dermatitis (691) or eczema (692) after the 9 th birthday is disqualifying.

You are not eligible for enlisting in the military at all. With your degree you could get on at one of the services or DoD as a civilian engineer but you could not be in the service. Sorry and appreciate the effort from yo and willingness to serve.

As has been already stated...
There is NO WAY that you will be
allowed to enlist in any US Armed Force,
with your Disabilities...
Asthma is a Breathing disorder and would
greatly restrict you from doing anything...
Hence rendering you "UnFit for Military Service"...
End of Story...
