If a DE or 3-4 OLB is drafted #1 next year, will he make more money then Terrel Suggs?

He won't make as much as Stafford, but I'm willing to bet he's paid more than Suggs. I'm also willing to bet there will be some agents praying to Green George Washingtons that that doesn't happen ("please, please, PLEASE draft Bradford or McCoy or Tebow first!!! That would set the bar so high, all us agents would be swimming in money!")

Sadly, that's the way the NFL market is- overpay for unproven commodities. But the owners are kind of in a bind, because if NONE of them pony up for their draft picks, there's a possibility they could be accused of collusion.

For a linebacker to get picked #1 overall in the draft I am darn sure he will get paid much more than Suggs. Because of the fact there has to be a lot of hype and speculation surrounding that player. If a team is willing to draft him with their first pick overall, not only will get paid some serious millions, but he most likely be starting by mid season.
