Personally, I don't care even a little bit. I had the same reaction I had to September 11th. Everytime you turn on the TV or open a newspaper you see children starving in Africa, you see tons of people being killed in the Middle East by American armies, you see reports of people being kidnapped and tortured to death, and you see so much human cruelty in the world that after a while it just bounces off of you. You can only see so much of something until it becomes just background noise. The average human imagination can't imagine half the stuff you see on TV. It's disgusting. And don't even get me started on the TV's power of suggestion feeding the mentally ill. If someone tells you NOT to press the big red button, what do you think you're gonna do? If Sigmund Freud was right then we all have id's people! ...And look at the movies! What's popular today? Horror movies with too sexually violent torture scenes and comedies with the most disgusting and shocking humor ever. Usually the only reason you get scared or laugh is because it's so shocking and your mind is trying to digest it and you feel anxiety (Hostel and South Park I'm talking to you!) THIS IS NOT A GOOD THING!!! I honestly believe that freedom of expression usually does more harm than good. I watch Inconvenient Truth and I feel like it's just a fictional movie, although I know the difference. Just like every other tragic story I hear in the news. It's sad, really. The media has just made it seem like something that will never happen, although, I know, it will. And the most saddest thing of all is that I know that the majority of people on Earth would agree. I know things won't change. To save the planet big buisnesses will have to lose money, and I think we have a better chance of aliens coming down from space and cleaning our air and oceans for us.

If you know someone who was dumped by the love of their lives, at first you'd be very sympathic, I know I would. By day 20 you'll just want to tell the person to shut up! That's like the media finding something terrible and going on and on and on and on about it until people turn away.

I'm getting a little off topic here. Sorry.

Just don't get me wrong, my parents raised me to be very kind to the environment. I just wish that more kids were raised by their parents and not cable television. Forget money, I think TV and too much negative information is now the root of all evil. Ignorance is bliss.

You wanna help and be a better person? Turn the lights off in an empty rooms, don't litter, watch out for mold, carpool when you can, recycle, reuse, and TURN THE TV OFF!!! Read a good book instead.

Think good thoughts and respect the Earth...
