It means, sometimes being too inquisitive can get you in trouble. For example: exploring an old mineshaft.

real. the meaning is extremely obtrusive, yet some belive its particularly beginning of the outstanding phraseto could opt to do with, Schrödingers Cat, the quantum physics try wherein a cat is in a superposition the region it would desire to the two be ineffective or alive in a container the region there's a 50/50 threat of a poisonous gasoline going off and killing the cat. We dont understand until ultimately we glance to paintings out the cat and set up wether the cat is ineffective or alive, meaning that OUR pastime kills the cat

    Curiosity was framed.

    Stupidity killed the cat.

Cats are naturally curious and sometimes that curiosity puts them in danger because they aren't assessing the risk involved. That's a metaphor for how our own curiosity can get us into trouble.

The old saying has two parallel meanings. The literal meaning refers to the nature of cats to be curious and the troubles it can get them into. Refer to the second old saying that "Cats have nine lives."

The more important metaphorical meaning refers to humans and is a warning that they shouldn't explore things that don't belong to them or they don't have the responsibility for. It is just another way of warning, "Mind your own business."

Of course it is just one of the many old sayings that a curious person will ignore. Learning things that you have been warned to not learn makes the curiosity that more intense and unstopable.

I agree with the first one, it apply's as a proverb, or parable to be focused on what is important rather then try to learn to quickly. It's like reading a book, that tells you everything rather then going out and doing it. If you have to know all the time it will spoil it for you and everybody else. DOn't get me wrong if someone is out to get you, don't let them feed you that one, but I think it means lighten up and have alittle fun. Cats have more fun that way, and they can be quiet entertaining when they are.
