What project I can make that will surely benefit the out of school youth?

Question

We need to think of a program that will benefit those youth who were not able to go to school. It must be related to the subject English. 

E.g. Literacy Program (It can be related to English since we can teach them how to read, write, etc.)

But, what else? It would help us as much as it would help those youth. It’s our individual project. Just give me some ideas on what subject it is to put on a progress report.

And that would be a lot of help for me. Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays to you as well. I do not know how many are in your group, but if you could split up and mentor, or work one on one with young people who hang out at the local civic centers, or social clubs, even encourage the ones hanging around the front of stores or on the corners. 
If you can explain to them that learning to read and write will improve their chances to become employable, useful citizens. Also there are many of the older generations in nursing homes and hospitals (VA) that had to go to work early and never did learn reading skills.
Your concentration on the younger group will improve their quality of life for the future.  Best of luck with your venture. That is how it begins...save them one at a time, and they in turn will help another.
Maybe local merchants can donate paper and pencils, since you are donating your time...thank you ~
