should we take what we don't like?

i like girl with nice look, trendy style and that girl must have noble manners. my mom disagree with me. she said if anything about the girl, it shouldn't be too much on look. the girl needs well-manners, knows how to save money and devotes for her husband. which one should i take? a girl that my mind chose or the girl that my mom chose?

Do what you want.  Your mom is talking from a woman's perspective, and you're not a woman.  Men do what they want, and they take what they want.

Your choice of a girl is quite ok except you should add a little to it if at all its someone you want to spend the rest of your life with, as your mom says is very true because family values should come first, and you should have some things in common.
