what should i do if someone disrespects my privacy?

i'm 20 now. i'm living in an apartment with my family. since day one, i haven't enjoyed the my private space. furthermore, my family have a serious disease of curiosity. if someone has a secret or some private thing, they always try to find out what it is, especially my mom. i have a little secret thing put in a locker but my mom has discovered it and scolded me. she told me that i'm a sicko to keep secrets and not telling her! i'm really upset and resentful! if she wanst my mom, i would have killed her!! 
i need some advices here please! what should i do to cure her stupid disease?

you can't stop mothers from hoking in your private stuff.

almost every mother is the same, they enjoy looking through everything in your cupboards, and rearranging it so you can never find what you are looking for ever again.

I suggest you leave some very sharp knives and a bloodied shirt inside a bag at the bottom of your wardrobe, plus a diary detailing the names and addresses of various random people you have looked up in the phone book, with the word "deceased" beside their names

Ask her to stop politely. If she doesn't do what you ask say it sternly.  Make your point obvious, make sure they know you aren't joking.
