Please tell me if you think?

some important female scientists / mathematicians / inventors are not given mention in didactic books, but should? I really think it's unfair to systematically exclude females from books students see, because a lot of people seem to look no further than them, making them think women never did anything (as if women's traditional role was nothing, hpf, why don't they try to keep a house and raise the family?).

I don't think there's any reason to not mention: Hypatia of Alexandria, Maria Gaetana Agnesi, Sophie Germain, Maria Montessori and Emmy Noether. What about you?
