Speaking and public speaking?

My problem is i find it hard to express my words and release a sentence coherently even in my mother tongue . When i was in senior high school, i realized i often found it hard to read loud when be asked to read a context in textbook. When i spoke, i also often interrupted my sentence as that time somehow there was another thoughts in my mind . I was distracted then i controlled myself by forcing myself to pay focus on what i was trying to express.

When i started to speak, my hands and foot always got totally wet and then I don't remember even what i am saying about.

Currently i have projects in university . I have to present in English, inherently not my mother tongue , i cannot link the words and the sentence together to release my complete sentence. What i tried to speak sounds really like a child learning primary English. It was really embarrassing . Anyone can help me to teach me the best way to prepare for a well-done presentation and improve my speaking as well. I appreciate!

Don't worry...a lot of people face this problem...ok...write down what you want to speak about in a language that you prefer...then find out what how to say it in english...google translation can be of help but be cautious of it too bc sometimes the translation can be wrong but it is a good place to start...connect everything up and summarize it...undertsand what it is that you want to say...your english must be basic...don't waste time using bombastic words...not everyone understands them anyway...then you write it down in small cards or small piece of papers...memorize them and understand them...also beware that some may ask you some questions during presentation so it's important to understand what you want to say...then practise a few times and try speaking in front of your friends or families...practise speaking to yourself too while imagining that there are a lot of people around you...don't be scared...it takes a lot of practise to overcome this problem so constantly practise this and you'll be fine....as for your language, always read english magazines such as readers digest and english newspapers or even pre-school or simply english story books...also try to do gramar practises since they are useful in connectig sentences...u can practise using the internet websites...make time for this everyday...the more you practise and the more you read you'll eventually become better...it takes practise. Don't worry about what people say. Do what is right and what brings improvement to you...:)
