Some people have answered, 
but things are slowing down.
How do I get people to participate? 
Where (on the Net) can I advertise?
Any suggestion?

The site is in French. So I'd suggest trying some search engines & sites that are French-based, frequented by French-speakers.
Link up to art-based sites & blogs. Cross-linking between blogs helps both.
You should also put up a link on your Yahoo!Answers profile, too.
Maybe try deviantart or similar popular & high-frequency art sites? You could open an account there & then gradually solicit views.

Sorry, that's all I could come up with. These are all long-term 'solutions'. It takes time to build up a following. Hopefully you'll get some quick-fix tips too...

you can translate the site from French to English. I took the test and didn't get my results though.
