What will happen if I install a RAM bus 1066 with an i7-3770?

Question

-Yup. I know that the 3770 supports 1333/1600 but I wonder what will happen if I put a 1066 in... 
-Oh and by the way, what are the advantages that a Xeon 1245v2 has in performance (yeah...things like cheaper, better price/performances/... don't count) compared to a 3770...
-Finally, can I make a 3770 work on a 775 mobo using a hammer and chainsaw after I stole it from a shop?

With 1066MHz DDR3 it will work and just run at the slower speed, giving you less memory bandwidth and higher latency

The major differences are the ability to use ECC memory and the extra x4 PCI-E v3.0 lanes on Xeon, it also has a very slightly faster iGPU, but can't turbo boost as high (3.8GHz vs 3.9GHz).  The demand-based switching and fast memory features wouldn't be noticeable under general computer use.
