What is the best magento optimized web hosting?
Hi everyone,
I have a quick project and I want to set up a magento hosting very quickly but yeah, I need it fast enough for demo and of course run in some month at least. I believe almost the project will take a year to get much traffic so please advise me the hosting what fit with my requirements:
- Quick set up: something like one click installation is perfect
- Work well for magento: it should be a hosting what is configured for magento and have full support magento features.
- Magento support: not just hosting only but also magento hosting support too, sometimes I will need to send ticket like "why magento suddenly doesn't work" or something like that
- Free domain is perfect :).
- Work fast in UK, US, Europe is advance
Thanks and please advise me.

If you're looking for something specific to Magento then I think you should try Arvixe. They have something special for almost every platform and I saw Magento in their list as well.
However, to be honest with you... It doesn't really matter if your web host is specific to what is required by Magento or sells anything in general. If cPanal is there, chances are they will also have MySQL and Apache installed with PHP Myadmin. If you've got these things then I don't think if it makes sense as to why Magento should not work properly or perform poorly with your web host.
So, if you're not satisfied with Arvixe (I think they're fine by the review, never used their hosting before though) you can try out HostGator which is very well known for the customer support and works nice with Magento for most of the people I have known.
If you're looking for something cheap and willing to migrate to something better when your website traffic increases then you may go for something like iPage or JustHost.
If you're looking for something absolutely performance oriented and do not like HostGator then I would suggest that you go for something like Dreamhost or Bluehost.
If I were you, my first preference would be iPage (only if cost matters, otherwise...) > Dreamhost > Bluehost > HostGator and Arvixe somewhere between them for I'm not really sure about it.
If you like my answer, and plan to choose one of my recommendations you can buy hosting from my affiliate link. It will get me some comission when you purchase and will not cost you anything aditional anyway.
Affiliate links are as following:
iPage: http://www.ipage.com/join/index.bml?AffID=713334
JustHost: http://www.justhost.com/track/cb/CODE39
BlueHost: http://www.bluehost.com/track/cb/CODE95
HostGator: http://secure.hostgator.com/~affiliat/cgi-bin/affi...
Dreamhost: Just use discount code "50OFFONDHMH" for 50 USD discount ( a bonus gift).
Arvixe: http://www.arvixe.com/5209-0-1-809.html
All the best, hope you get the best host there! :D

When it comes to Magento, you should definitely be looking for a web host that has a hosting environment that is optimized for Magento hosting. It is definitely a resource hog and the technical knowledge of a good host is essential in ensuring that your eCommerce store operates and its peak speeds. Magento actually provides a list of hosting partners, so that's a great place to start. Personally, I would recommend Nexcess. They know their stuff and are quite active in the Magento community.

Here, they have softaculous, which enables you to install magento with few clicks!
Try http://www.dominio-y-hosting.com/en/web-...
They have servers in INDIA, so your website will be fast!
And you can activate cloudfare for free!! (faster websites!)
Try it for 30 days and if you get disappointed, just cancel it, and they give your money back, no questions asked.

You can still use a shared plan for hosting magento, you just need to upgrade from the real bottom of the barrel services as this are oversold on old slow servers and are just going to loose you customers by using them. A decent shared plan is the way to go first as this will have no problem serving multiple sites. This would be what to try before going for a VPS or dedicated server. The company i use gives you free support and free migration from your old account to a new one plus are available to answer questions 24/7
A shared server is basically a server for hosting websites but it is shared between many users, some companies offer shared web hosting very cheap but you will be sharing a slow server with sometimes hundreds of other users. This is not ideal as it will impact you with slow load times on a website and will loose you business so its always better to pay a couple of dollars more and
However, not all hosting companies servers are the same, some over charge and some do not offer any type of support. Some offer support that is completely worthless and will not help fix simple issues, others will take 2-4 days before replying to emails and ticket and basically be un-contactable.
I would recommend a company called simple link here http://the-seo-advisor.co.uk/hosting who offer the best shared servers i have ever used but more than that it is their support team who really make this company the best and worthwhile, they have never taken more than a couple of hours to get back to me with solutions, advice and fixes which is more than i can say about godaddy, bluehost, justhost and hostgator.
They are currently have these offers which you can use :
jwoffer = 10% off first order on any package or purchase
jjoff = completely free first month on any shared hosting plan.
These are not available to general public so please do not share them elsewhere.
