Is there still a shortage of women for computer jobs?

I've heard a while ago that there is too few women and too many men with computer science/cyber security/etc jobs. Is that still true today? And why is it that women don't want to work in that field?

There is no 'shortage of women' in the CS field because this job is gender blind. I was almost the only female on my CS undergrad and Master's courses but that is not because women were not encouraged to take it, it was because women are not attracted to this field.

The job does not have a lot of social contact and is highly logical. Both of those qualities make it more attractive to men than to women.
