How much oil do I put in for baking cookies?
This cookie mix says to add half a butter stick but I don't have butter. So i'm using olive oil but how much would I need to put?

Half a stick is one-fourth cup of butter.
But using olive oil instead of butter will change both the texture and the taste of the cookies.

Unless you REALLY like taste of olive oil, I wouldn't do it. I made brownies with olive oil and they just didn't taste right.

you cant use olive oil. your cookies will be disgusting. vegetable oil is an acceptable replacement.
