I wouldn't look into it like it's a red flag or anything. Personally, I hate phone calls I'd much rather text and I tend to ignore 95% of calls. Everyone has their quirks about them, just let him know that getting more texts from him is what you want. You want to hear about his week, etc.

It's hard to gauge a person's commitment at only two weeks into a relationship. But if it's his habit not to be very social during the work week that's unlikely to change. Some people who have demanding jobs just lack the bandwidth to work a long day and then spend a bunch of time texting. The human brain needs to check out once in a while and that would appear to be what he's doing. If this is a dealbreaker for you though you're certainly within your rights to find someone more responsive.

He has a weekday woman and a weekend woman. I had that happen to me, except I'm a guy and a woman was balancing two men.
