Hi guys, I need help!?

This guy had a crush on me first and he just confessed it with me. At first i didn’t like him but when i know him better, I started to feel for him. We actually like each other but not really in the boy/girlfriend relationship. We live in different city so we decide to meet once in a or two weak. He does give me lots of love and care when we meet. But only the problem is he never texts to me, not even once when we are apart. I know him in person that he is not a flirty guy and he doesn’t have many female friends so there is no way he has another girl. That’s why i don’t understand. I asked but he said he’s lazy and didn’t like texting but i am still not sure about this. I mean he’s like two different person. I don’t feel he likes me if I look at the way he text me but when we meet, I see he really likes me.  What do you guys think?. Thanks for answering me!!
