I have this Math problem in which requires me to find the possible values for r:

The volume of a torus is give by the formula V=2 * π^2 * r^2 * R where r and R are the radii shown and r is equal or less than R.

A metal ring in the shape of a torus has a volume of 100 cubic centimeters. Choose three possible values of r, and find the corresponding values of R.

I don't know how to find the possible values of r. Many of the numbers I have randomly tried give the result that r is greater than R, which is incorrect. Could you please make it clear for me in this problem?

I am confused at one point: why is "servum" in the accusative case? It is translated as "for the servant", so should it be in dative case? Or should the sentences be translate differently? All of the subjects in a sentence that has "Necesse erat" is in accusative case.

In my textbook, both are translated to "also" in English, although quoque is a conjuration, and etiam takes the role of the adverb in the sentence.

Is is necessary to have the word "ibi" in the sentences? The word Roman should be written in ablative case "Romanis" or Gentive, "Romanae"?

So, me, my mom and my sister, all are young and young-at-heart, first time abroad from SE Asia and whose English is good enough at least to ask for direction around the place.

This is going to be our once-in-a-lifetime trip so I’d like to plan every detail. I’ve prepared notebook and pencil and camera for a picture journal. I’m most definitely in love with every Disney animated classics. Top of the list includes: Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse, the Lion King, Tarzan, Belle and Ariel.

Can we have it all in just one day, since we’re in a stricly scheduled city tour? Any much-recommended games, sight-seeing spots? How should we get around? Should we hop on a train, or walk clockwise/counterclockwise from the main entry? I learn that they have parade and firework show every single day, so where to have the best view of those? I know that doing my own research is important, but any experience, impression sharing would be deeply appreciated. Guaranteed at least a thumb-up for every answer. Thank you guys! :D

À mà sáng và trưa chú này cũng gáy như thường. Giọng đâu mà khỏe đến thế. Em đoán không biết có phải chế độ ăn của gà thành phố hơi bị khác thường không. Gà em ăn cơm thừa, xác đậu nành em nấu lấy sữa còn lại, với đủ thứ đồ dư mứa khác... Ăn hoài thấy chưa ngoẻo mà còn có vẻ khoái nên em mới cho đó.

Vậy cho em hỏi, ai đã thấy gà gáy đêm như thế này bao giờ chưa? Như vậy là có bình thường không?

Bà nội của Nấm kĩ lắm. Đi chơi đâu xa thể nào cũng nhắc tụi em cho vài múi tỏi vào xách đi đường. Chị Nấm sắp sang Mĩ, không được quên cho tỏi vào tất cả ngăn kéo của vali. Mà thật tình là nhà em chưa bao giờ bị thất lạc hành lí hay mất cắp cả.

Không phải lời dịch đâu, lời tiếng Việt ấy nhé. Một số bài hát nước ngoài từ thập niên 80 hay trước nữa, được các nhạc sĩ xưa dịch lời hoặc phóng tác lại hay lắm, như Seasons in the sun, Love story ấy, mà giờ khó kiếm quá.

Mẹ em còn nhớ được một câu đầu thế này: "ngát xanh như mây vô tình, tình em và anh"...

Hôm nay có ai đem cho nhà Nấm một bé cạp cạp trắng phau, iu ơi là iu ^^. Nấm để ý hình như đưa tay hai bên đầu vịt thì bé lại sợ quá né đi, còn đưa tay ngay trước mũi thì bé lại tỉnh bơ.

Như vậy, chẳng lẽ mắt vịt giúp chúng nhìn hai bên cùng lúc ư? Mà chỉ nhìn được 2 bên, không nhìn được đằng trước thì chắc là khó chịu lắm.
