Maybe this will give you something to get started on.. :)

If the world was all the same, if we all had the same thoughts, hobbies and lifestyles, what a boring place it would be. Can you imagine if everyone was just like you? Can you imagine waking up and walking down the street to see everyone wearing the same clothes, playing the same games, and doing the same things as you every day? The world is so wonderful because it’s made up of so many different people, with different outlooks on life, different ideas and they do different things for enjoyment.

Okay we don’t always get along with people who think and act differently to us; and we may not always agree with how they think or do things but I think it’s important to accept that every person has a right to be an individual. Each person has the right to be themselves. If we don’t accept this then what we are saying is that we want everyone to be the same as us. If someone is not breaking the law or harming anyone what difference in the scheme of things does it really make if they don’t think or act like me?

I like to play sport in my spare time and sometimes I have problems understanding why everyone does not like to play sport, playing sport for me is fun and relaxing, its healthy and it helps to keep me fit while I spend time with my friends. Some of my friends like to spend their spare time on the computer or reading, I don’t like to play computer games or read, I think it’s boring and dull, it’s not healthy and it won’t keep you fit. If my friends laugh at me because I play sport it makes me angry and wonder what is wrong with them for not liking sport, but if I criticised or teased my friends because they play computer games and read books what sort of person does that make me? It would make me someone who wants everyone to be the same as me. When I think about it different people are better at different things, without people who like to play computer games and read books then we would not have any computer technicians, teachers or writers. While we don't always understand the way that other people think or the things they enjoy its not such a bad thing after all. The world really is wonderful and so is every individual person who lives in it, I'm truly thankful that we are all different and that I live in a society that encourages and allows the freedom of choice to partake in the lifestyles that suit us individually.
