I need a story idea, can anyone help?

Here's a plot, but this will be very different to what you had thought of chases etc,

Movie Name - ATLANTIS

A young man aspiring to be an actor fails at an audition. The same night he goes into a depression. Next day he gets a phone call that he will star in the movie(audition he failed), happy he tells his mother about this good news.

For 3 months he goes away for the shoot and everyday he comes back home and chats with his mother about all the incidents that has happened during filming. He even tells that he and his co-star have now started to date.

After 3 months he tells his mother that his movie will be releasing soon and he invites her for the premiere. On the day of the premiere he reads a newspaper and gets very upset, when his mother questions him he shows her the newspaper and tells her that the producer had an untimely death and hence the release has been postponed. The mother is shocked and surprised to see that the article his son was pointing to was totally different to what he was telling her.

Next day at hospital a psychiatrist tells the mother that her son is suffering from schizophrenia because he got rejected in the audition he has gone into a mental depression. the phone call was fake and all the other incidents that have happened to him are all part of hallucinations and these have just happened in his mind and they are not real.

Just when the doctor ends, the guy gets another hallucination where he is walking towards the stage to collect the best actor award.
