Question about kindle touch?
I bought a Kindle Touch a few months ago. I hardly use it but have had to charge it a few times already. I don't leave it on or leave the Wi-Fi on it connected. Why does the a battery keep being drained even though I'm not using it?
I hold the button down till it completely shuts off.

Weird, kindles should not do that. Especially if you said Wifi is off.
If the wifi is off, the kindle takes 0 power with the current image on. You do not need to "fully turn it off", its off when its doing nothing.
For example my kindle did not reach half battery life for a whole month, even with me reading about 20 mins a day. And I just put it to sleep, an ad turns on and that's it. The kindle only takes power when you change the picture, not the picture being displayed.
Make sure wifi is actually off: In the main menu click "Menu" > click "Turn Off Wireless". And if you have the 3G version make sure that is also off.
If no change, get Amazon technical support. Something is wrong with it.

Did you completely turn it off? You could have it on sleep mode, which uses the battery.
Also, even if you're wi-fi is off, the battery will still be drained from anything that is opened/in use - even if from reading an e-book.
