Can someones please give some tips about travelling to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico?

If you have booked a package that Includes flight and resort, your transportation would be included. You should receive a form that you have to produce when boarding your bus in Puerto Vallarta airport. If you haven't received this yet, contact your travel agent, or whom ever you booked through. Myself, I prefer to book transportation privately through Lomas Travel. This way I get too my resort a lot quicker. The buses that the charter air companies use stop at several resorts, so can take awhile before getting too yours.

At the Puerto Vallarta airport, you will run into lots of people trying to offer discount prices on tours, and some will ask to see your travel papers. Most of them are trying to get you to go to a timeshare seminar. Do not stop and talk with them, or you may miss your ride. Once you have your luggage, and you clear security, don't stop until your outside of the airport. There you will find your representative holding a sign with your flight logo on it. Once you make contact with them, follow their directions, and you will be on your way. The same goes for private transportation.

Puerto Vallarta Is a very nice holiday destination. The weather should be warm to hot most days, so take sunscreen with you.

Your resort will have all sorts of information on tours and excursions. You'll have a great time. The airport can be a bit of a hassle, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy to get through.

do no longer knock PV. it is in all probability safer than your place city. They assume all of Mexico is this way whilst it is not.

You need to contact you all inclusive hotel and ask them. Some do pick up and others do not.

We winter in PV.......love it.........if this is your first time and your resort will not have transpiration you can get a cab....as mentioned........just ignore all the scams and walk right through the scammers..........I assume you have someone with you..........you can google transpiration and get some one to pick you up at the airport and get you to your resort..........call the resort .......they can arraign it......it will cost about $20 bucks but well worth it for newbies.....we just go out the door ...........turn left........catch the bus.........about .50 cents...........but we have been going there for years...............and can speak Spanish........have fun............weather shoud be OK.........little rain now and then but warm.........
