Creating minecraft server?
Hey guys.
I have the Minecraft Launcher (by AnjoCaido) on Minecraft 1.5 and I want to make a LAN server. I have Hamachi and a Minecraft server, but whenever I try to connect to the server in Minecraft it says "Outdated client!" and it mentions my Hamachi server as 1.5.2. What can I do? Can I downgrade the server? I don't think I can upgrade Minecraft...please help me out here! :)
I try to force update and it says "Fatal error occured (4): Address family not supported by protocol family: connect"

I have found a 1.5 server client whatever, and when I try to join into my own server, it says Connection Lost and "Failed to login: java.net.SocketException: Address family not supported by protocol family: connect"

try force updating minecraft. When you are logging in go to options and press force update. it should update.

If your not aware, that isn't the real minecraft launcher, you can find that here https://minecraft.net/download
if you download the client from there it will be the most up to date version. If that client gives you extra features you really like you'll need to find the server exe for 1.5, if you google something like "download minecraft server 1.5" you'll probably find it
**Make sure you download it from a reputable site or you could get malware with/instead of it**
