I plan on making a video series that teaches math from its beginning up to Calculus II and possibly higher. Seeing I know thwse high levels of math, I'm going to find it hard to teach any intro to math without using math terms. What do you believe should be the very first lesson you teach a child to begin math? Not addition or subtraction, even before that.

In the inventory menu, I used to be able to click on something once (not hold it) and I could drag it around without holding the mouse. Now I have to hold down the mouse button to drag something, and it really hinders my crafting ability. How do I get my controls back to how they are?

I've been on and off trying to add mods on my Minecraft (1.6.2) for a month or so and I have decided that I want the Aether II mod.

The problem is, every tutorial I follow makes me want to pull my hair out at the end when it crashes. I download Forge, I put it in, etc., and it won't work. So this is why I'm coming here.

I've "reset" my .minecraft folder to its original state. Now I need somebody (or somebodies) to help me in a VERY DETAILED, STEP-BY-STEP tutorial on how to install Forge and ultimately get the Aether II mod (a general overview on how to get other Forge mods afterwards would be nice, too, lol!)

ALSO: I would like to know how to make an Aether server. I think that downloading the Forge server is the same as the client.

My brother and I just bought Minecrafts after a few months of being illegal. Now everything we run is is off of stuff downloaded from the website, all updated, everything.

Now I've never been able to successfully mod any part of Minecraft, so I will need a full tutorial to answer this question:

What do I do to make it so our 1.6.2 server has the Aether 2.0 mod on it?

You've all seen it, you look at the space above a bonfire and the image behind it waves and wobbles, distorting the background. It shows up on cameras and stuff like that, too.

What causes that to happen? Just curious.

Ok, me and my brother have managed to set up a Minecraft server where I host it and he joins. He has a Windows 8 laptop and I, Windows 7. Now, we're trying to go the other way (he hosts and I join), but I can't. My server on the Multiplayer screen immediately goes to no connection (because it isn't on) and my brother's server keeps polling. I want to believe that it sees the server, but it can't connect, because when I try to connect anyway, it takes a while and says it times out. What can I do? His server has never been green on my game.

I'm using Excel to quickly make graphics, but I have a problem. The default gray lines that border the cells get in my way. I can't merge the cells because there's different stuff in each column, so that's out.

Is there any way to make those bars either transparent or remove them completely? It's those gray bars that give Excel that grid look. I'm on Excel 2000.

Alrighty, so I had mouth surgery on Friday (a graft to stop gum receding) and I have packing in my mouth, between the lower lip and lower gum, from that (as well as some on the roof, since that's where it came from). The surgeon/doctor said to keep it in over the weekend and then it's ok. He also mentioned something about it falling out though.

Question: Should I take the packing out myself tomorrow or wait for it to fall out? Considering its between the lip and gum, it...really can't fall out, so I'm thinking I'll have to take it out.

Is there a mod for PC minecraft that makes crafting similar to the list format in Pocket Edition? A friend of mine got the computer version after playing from the iPad and doesnt like the new recipe format.

I have the Minecraft Launcher (by AnjoCaido) on Minecraft 1.5 and I want to make a LAN server. I have Hamachi and a Minecraft server, but whenever I try to connect to the server in Minecraft it says "Outdated client!" and it mentions my Hamachi server as 1.5.2. What can I do? Can I downgrade the server? I don't think I can upgrade Minecraft...please help me out here! :)

I think I read somewhere that McDonald's are more green than red in other countries than America. Is this true?

And similarly, would red-themed McDonald's advertising in other countries have the same effect as here?

I'm a junior in highschool, looking around at colleges. I would prefer to not stay on campus, simply because it would be more expensive. However, I got a 34 on my ACT, would that allow me to get a full ride somewhere so I could stay at college? Im not in any athletics either, which worries me. With all the full rides going to the Division 1's most MVP'd All-American Heismann Trophy winner that'll just throw a ball around all his life, that makes me think there's no full tuition left for the people that actually worked in school. I would love to be proven wrong with this!

Long story short, where can a 34 ACT alone get me a full ride? Anywhere?

I've had issues with my anal region lately. It seems as if the anus is all swelled up. It doesn't bleed, but it can be uncomfortable and I can't pass waste. If I do have hemorrhoids, are there any "at-home" kind of things so I can fix it?

So I played minecraft today and finally defeated the Ender Dragon. So, what do I logically do next? Start over again in a new world, of course!

But this time, I want tons more automated stuff. Enter redstone!

I have some ideas, one of which I've done before, and the others I have no idea how to go about making. They are:

- Cobblestone generator (did before)

- Cactus farmer (with ability to replant)

- Mob smasher (with glass to see them)

- Pressure plate-activated entrance?

I would like to hook all these up to one single pressure plate I stand on. The cactus farmer plan bugs me because I have to replant. I'd keep the bottom one, but then it could take away the cactus I just farmed...And in create mode, I couldn't make something that would actually smash the mobs...

If anyone has other ideas for machines and/or ideas on how to make the above four things, please give me an answer! Remember, i installed no mods.

ALSO: I would like to know if it is possible to do local multiplayer between two (cracked) copies of Minecraft, or if we would have to hop on a server.

I'm looking for software that is similar to the animation Flash can do, but dumbed down so that anyone can pick it up and work with it. All the effects I'm looking for, really, is for objects to follow a certain path (sometimes nonlinear, as well as from point A to B on the screen) during animation, maybe rotate, and/or change color, hopefully with some other stuff as well! If anyone has an idea, please put it here! :)

Hey everyone. My girlfriend broke up with me a couple of months ago after nearly two years, I've been trying to cope with being single but it's really starting to get to me. She's with her second boyfriend since our breakup, and I haven't been with anyone since. Partially because I don't see anyone at school that interests me, but I'm still single. I don't want to be with just anyone, because I wouldn't be happy and I'd wind up breaking her heart.

The real issue is, she made me feel so confident and so amazing, when she broke up with me that's slowly been crumbling, and now I keep looking down on myself. She's still pretty and confident, and I don't feel attractive or interesting or anything. The only thing I see that I have going for me for looks is that I have great hair. What am I gonna do with just that? And the fact that I don't talk to many people (not to be ignorant, but only to people who aren't as smart as me, and therefore I'm not truly interested in any girls I talk to) and I don't do anything out of school doesn't help me at all. I'm looking for somebody that's smart and kinda nerdy, because that's who I am. I'm not asking for a girlfriend though this post, that'd just be weird.

I'm rambling on and on but I'm really looking for some support, tips to make me feel more confident or tips so that I can come out of my shell, I want to feel somewhat attractive and confident. I don't like who I am (but I feel like I should) and I want help feeling better. If this makes no sense, that's ok, I don't feel like I ever make sense.

I'm using MCPatcher to mod my game (finding the .zip and adding all files that show up after I pick it, I think that's how I mod it.)

I have (I think) modded ModLoader first on it, and I've tried to mod JourneyMap for MC 1.5.1 on my Minecraft 1.5. Is it important that I find a JourneyMap for 1.5? I've been looking and can't find one...

When I go into my inventory and click on an item, it automatically goes into my bottom 9 objects, if there's room, and vice versa. Works the same way with chests. How can I fix this? It's really bugging me.

Ok, I've been having problems on YouTube and it's really starting to bother me.

I would go on, and I could load any kind of video, few seconds to an hour, just fine. BUT, when I go to TobyGames or anything Tobuscus, it can't load the 10 or so minutes of minecraft to save it's life. I thought it was just my browser, but my iPod is having the same issues. What's the problem, too much traffic to Toby? If I can fix it (I doubt it's my fault though) please let me know!

I'm thinking on making a YouTube channel where I teach all types of Math, and maybe a little bit of other things.

That being said, I need a name for it! Preferably something so I could easily change "Math" with "Physics" or "English" or whatever, cause I may talk about non-math too.
